Learn how to describe ...

For early learners, use a simple dialogue to describe an apple. First, we must have an apple. A real apple. Red, Green or Yellow. Let the child hold the apple. Our framework: Q: Tell me ... what's this? A: My Apple ... or ... This is my apple ... or ... This is an apple. Q: Tell me its COLOUR. A: Red ... or ... It is red. Q: Tell me its SHAPE. A: Round ... or ... It is round. Q: Tell me its SIZE. A: Big ... or ... It is big. Q: Tell me its WEIGHT. A: Heavy ... or ... It is heavy. ... continue with other aspects for older children. ... let the child decide whether the object is big or small; light or heavy ... according to his or her perception. Help by showing action of something being small or big; light or heavy. ... give the child time to answer. To start, you question, you answer. Child will follow once he or she gains confidence. Baiklah dalam Bahasa Malaysia begini ... Bagi anak-anak yang baru belajar kita gunakan dialog mudah untuk bercerita tentang epal. Sediakan sebiji epal. Dan gunakan dialog berikut untuk bercerita tentang epal tersebut. Q: Tell me ... what's this? A: My Apple ... or ... This is my apple ... or ... This is an apple. Q: Tell me its COLOUR. Tambah ciri-ciri lain bagi anak-anak yang sudah mahir. Untuk permulaan beri peluang anak menjawab ringkas. Jika anak diam ... kita soal, kita jawab. Anak akan mula apabila semakin yakin. Beri masa.
